Progress Theatre has recently started to mount exhibitions of original artwork in the refurbished foyer and bar area during the run of each of its productions.  It is a relatively small space, well lit and welcoming, and a great opportunity for artists to show their work to the theatre-going public..

The aim is to show a diverse range of artwork throughout the season, in terms of both subject and media, and work can be put on sale to the public if the artist wishes.  There is also the opportunity for an artist to develop work to exhibit alongside a particular play and perhaps work with the director in discussing themes and content, should this appeal.

There is no hanging fee but the Theatre retains a 20% commission on any work sold.  Anyone who is interested in displaying work should contact Christine Moran at .
